| The majority of saddles being sold today are sold without full consideration of all of the fit requirements of the horse. |
| Many riders and trainers have made the false assumption that their saddles do fit. |
| The saddle industry in the US is not regulated. There are not any standards for assuring the quality and fit of saddles. |
| Saddles that do not fit properly are the root cause of many muscular, skeletal, training, and behavioral problems in horses. |
| Left untreated, these problems cause a lifetime of unnecessary pain and suffering for the horse. |
| The careers and sometimes lives of many horses are ended prematurely due to the problems originating with an improperly fitting saddle. |
