Wool felt disperses pressure, heat & moisture.  Wool felt minimizes any pressure points from the saddle by spreading (dispersing) the pressure over a larger area.  Pads of lesser density do not have the same ability to disburse pressure and they will break down quickly.  In independent computerized pressure mapping tests, wool felt consistently outperformed foam and gel pads.

3.      Your choice of thickness.  3/4. or 1/2..

The 3/4. pad provides greater protection for the horse.s back and withers.  On horses with .high withers., this pad helps keep the pommel of the saddle clear of the withers.
